able to see banned members reputation

Well, this is just a small suggestion to the forum. Some ppl want to see banned members reputation, correct? And you cant because its disabled. Well they can have other non-banned user look at banned users reputation. That way, it will be better if this was added because new users might want to look at banned users reputation on the forum.

Please add this to forum!

Let me know what you think of this idea.

The people who are banned were banned for a reason. If you are talking about a banned user with someone new, then they wouldn't know of this other person. So why would you need to look at something about a person who you don't know/haven't heard of?

Let me put you this way, say If I wanted to see scifin's reputation, but I couldn't because he is banned, so this is why I suggested this. Also new users want to see reputations like this also. I know why people are banned for a reason. The reputation system is not fine at all because some people want to view banned members reputation.


This is my explanation, so if your saying why want this. I gave you the answer.

Well, I for one, even though have seen most before they were banned, would love to have this, just to be able to see what was noted about them before their ban.

I understand what you're saying Tenchi, but I would always read their bios if they had one anyways, or if I had known them or didn't know them previously of their ban.

The point that I'm making here is that nobody knows who scifen (or any other banned user) is, and, nobody would care. For all the grief that he put us through (since you're using sci as the example here), nobody really talks about/remembers him except through posts like these.

Again, let me say my thing, never saw scifin's reputation, but his posts say he has 5- rep and I want to know who gave him that rep. I care about this, so your wrong about the caring part, some new users don't even know him.

This has to be in the forum or else that it will be disappointed.

They might get curious about banned users reputation. Likely that they want to know rep in banned members. So it is possible that they might put this in.

Looks like we'll just keep going in circles, so I'll end this. Other than people not knowing/caring, there's one major issue. If you allow people to look at the banned user's ratings, then you must also allow for them to be rated. Of course, this is all in settings, but it would allow those banned people to create new accounts for the sole purpose of making themselves appear better through the usage of spam rates.

New users would also contribute to that spam by saying things like "IDK why you're banned, but here's a +" or "good player, you shouldn't be banned". If you wanted to prevent this then you would need to disclose the reason for the original ban as well as the amount of time that the person is banned for. This kind of change would require giving every user some level of Mod/Admin access in order to view either of those things.

Because of the nature of the changes that would need to occur, this can not and will not happen.

This will be my last post for you, that's your opinion, I still say yes to this idea no matter what you say about it. People think that "Hey, I like this idea" or " I totally support this idea". Still people like it and its not going to stop it. Its up to the devs to see what they think about it.
