Anyway, the upgrade idea in particular seems really good. Of course, weapons like the Death From Above should get no upgrade; but I assume that's implied. Otherwise, it would be really interesting.

A 40-shot weapon is a bit OP, I'm surprised you suggest that. Same goes for the night vision, IMO.
