delayed jumping
can you make a jumping option where you can only jump once every couple seconds or so? that way you could get out of a tight space, but not all the way across the map.

Hmm, I think that's a good idea. Maybe in the game settings there should not only be options to turn jumping on or off, but also limited jumping options.
