RE: Introducing Party Games
I disagree with the idea that these new modes take no skill to play. Perhaps you could make a case for that with Killer but I don't think it applies to any of the other modes. Have you even played them all yet? On a variety of maps?
On Doomberries you need a high level of skill to use those weapons effectively. On Arms Race you need to be proficient with a variety of different weapons, not all of which are possibly to get easy kills with from close range. You also need to be effective at picking up double kills when possible (particularly with the Sidewinder for example). Points Match is all about the skill. Non-skilled players who simply walk up to you are never going to win simply because you need to be able to effectively use the mortar as well as strategically use your other weapons at various stages to get double kills and maximise your double points bonus. Of course there is still luck involved with the spawns but you need to factor that into your strategy. It's all about going for those double kills. I really don't believe you can be successful at these game modes as an unskilled player who relies on always taking the easy shots. And besides, it's called party mode for a reason. In all the game modes we've removed the negative aspects of dying and worrying about your stats so that the focus becomes much more about having fun and going for those outrageous shots that you might not want to risk in normal games. Don't take it so seriously! ![]() |

Couldn't agree more, Troll2 you have to settle down and stop getting so frustrated, this whole party mode is FUN, try it for once it's a good thing to have. Rob the update is great, I love the whole concept of this new "party" mode, its made one of my best friends Malinero come back to the game! Thank you for this update it's really helped! ![]() |

This is a very nice update. Going to really love the Berry mode. I could love this game more if you make more updates on it.
